I am an abstract artist. The work I create comes out of a response to the particular materials that I use. Though I consider most of them paintings I would say that they are 'constructed' rather than painted. Much of the work that interests me is gestural. I started A Hamster A Day to further familiarize myself with the plasticity of the 'plastic' arts. I also started drawing hamsters to create a daily practice. My productivity has increased in all that I make. Our hamster's name is Knubby Sniffleton.
A Hamster A Day is now on Facebook.
more detail than usual and i feel quite a bit better than a recent similarly positioned ham. too many whiskers though. kinda messy. the mouths are still hard to draw without two lines.
